S M Shridhar

S. M. Shridhar was born and grew up in a place embroiled in turbulent social and political environment. With uncertainty always hovering around, he completed his education. Feeling like a caged bird he always revolted against the archaic system and orthodox folks around him. He was termed as an eyesore, therefore inherent to invite a comment, ”trying to be New Yorker while living in Rome” - though well wishers would empathize with him to be a misfit in the conservative environment.
Nourished by a latent itch for writing, he penned down poems and short stories but self-assessed them as not worth presenting or publishing. Friends would appreciate the attempt, but the lack of confidence put up the blocks. The gypsy like service life deprived him of a stable and settled mind. Recently got a book published titled ”An Office Story: Deaf and Dumb.”
